Product description
Material & Process:
- Made of 304 stainless steel or 45# carbon steel. Carbon steel versions can be quenched and tempered as required to improve strength and wear resistance.
- Formed in one piece by high-precision CNC turning, with multi-step diameters and tapered surfaces machined in a single setup for high concentricity and tight dimensional tolerances.
- Polished or ground surface finish, offering high surface smoothness, low friction coefficient and excellent rust resistance.
- Key step surfaces can be electroplated, black oxide treated or carburized to enhance hardness and corrosion resistance based on application needs.
Application:
This step shaft is widely used in automated equipment, molds, fixtures and precision machinery as locating pins, guide pins or connecting shafts. It achieves precise positioning, guidance or connection through different diameter steps, ensuring coaxiality and positional accuracy during assembly. It can also be used as connector cores or flow guides in pneumatic and hydraulic pipelines to ensure stable fluid transmission. Suitable for electronic equipment, packaging machinery, medical devices and various non-standard automation equipment, it effectively reduces wear and noise under frequent insertion/removal, reciprocating motion or heavy load conditions, extending the overall service life of the equipment while guaranteeing stable and reliable assembly and operation.
